Your initial appointment is 60-90 minutes, ensuring enough time to conduct a thorough nutrition assessment, discuss strategies, devise plans, and provide you with the information you need to make the steps towards better nutrition.
For the assessment you will be asked questions about your lifestyle, current medications and supplements, medical history, symptoms you may be experiencing, and current eating habits. Although not required, it may be helpful to bring along a food diary with several days worth of entries to help assist you when recalling what you eat, and make a note if you have any particular symptoms that you have noticed.
-
Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. These are scheduled to ensure you have the support to keep making progress towards your health goals, and to address any issues which may have arisen since your previous consultation.
*Follow Up Appointments are only available to patients that have been seen at The QCRD in the past 6 months.
-
The Restarting Appointment is 45-60 min in duration, ensuring enough time to update your previous nutrition assessment AND devise an updated plan. The Restarting Appointment is available if you have been seen at The QCRD within the past 3 years, but it has been more than 12 months since your previous appointment.
